GR set for NAAFS "Rock & Rumble 5"

GR has 5 guys set to compete on Saturday August 27th, at the Nautica Pavilion. GR fighters are as follows Paul "Str8 Outta" Compton, George "BoneSaw" Comer, Reggie "The Contract Killer" Parks, Ryan "The Loose Canyon" Lose, and last but not least John Burbol. Compton & Comer's fights will be Proffessional bouts and everyone else's is amateur. Please if you plan to attend get your tickets through the fighters as they have them as well as posters if you would like some. If you are unable to attend at least make sure to wish them good luck next time you see them here in the gym.

On Saturday, September 17, 2011 the UFC will present "Fight Night Live" from the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. NAAFS "War on the Shore 5"

The NAAFS comes to Geneva, OH on Saturday July 23, 2011 for War on the Shore 5. This year's event will be a PRO/AM event and GriffonRawl will be well represented. Professional veteran Paul Compton will be in action alongside 'Bonesaw' George Comer, who is making his pro debut. Evolve MMA "Kickboxing Smoker"

On Friday, May 27, 2011 members of GriffonRawl will be competing in a smoker at Evolve MMA. Ryan Lose, Reginald Crawford, and "Mad Anthony"will be taking part in a kickboxing match. Al Turner will be competing in a boxing only match. Please come out and support your teammates and don't forget to wear your GriffonRawl attire to support the academy.

Bryon will be GR's only fighter on this card and will be facing Okey Lawrence of Non Stop MMA. This will be a Pro/Am card and will be taking place in Erie, PA. UPCOMING SEMINAR WITH DAN "THE PENNSYLVANIA HIT MAN" SWIFT

April 8th GriffonRawl is proud to announce we will be holding a 2 hour MMA Seminar that will be taught by Dan Swift. Dan has an extensive amount of experience in MMA. He has fought UFC vets Roger Huerta, Jeff Curan and Miguel Torres. Dan has a three stripe purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Jorge Gurgel and Jon Stutzman. This is a good opportunity for all of our MMA students to come and enhance their techniques as well as all of those who are just thinking about training in MMA to come and get some hands on experience.

NAAFS "Midwest Combat Challenge 13"

On Saturday, March 12, 2011 Team GriffonRawl will be well represented in the NAAFS' "Midwest Combat Challenge 13." MWCC 13 will be held at Chapparell's Community Center in Akron, Ohio. Currently set to compete: John Burbol (5-3) at 185lbs; Dan Vandevender(debut) at 150lbs; Brad Bukovics (debut) at 170lbs; Mike MacDonald (0-1) at 145lbs; Zoran Laden (1-0) at 185lbs; and in the main event of the night Chuck Schilling (6-2) makes his long awaited return at 145lbs.
