Television contracts with Sports Time Ohio and GTV have given the NAAFS "name recognition."Hyped as the biggest event in NAAFS history, Plain Dealer Pavilion in downtown Cleveland will showcase the region's biggest names at the amateur and professional level.Team GriffonRawl will be represented by two of her professionals, Team Captain Jason "Dynamite" Dent and Paul "Str8outta" Compton. Jason will be taking on the man who knocked out Torrance Taylor in :29 seconds for the NAAFS Pro Series Lightweight Title. Nick Sorg is known to be heavy handed, well conditioned and well rounded. Jason and Nick will be the main event of the evening.Paul, the 2008 NAAFS Amateur Lightweight Champion, will be taking on the 2007 NAAFS Amateur Lightweight Champion, Mike Nesto. This bout will mark both of these accomplished fighter's pro debuts and is being billed as "Champion vs. Champion."Technically of Team Playland, Dan Jones has supplemented his training at GriffonRawl participating in BJJ and Muay Thai classes.
