Come to the Jeff Curran Seminar!

GR keeps the seminars coming this April when legendary MMA fighter Jeff 'Big Frog' Curran comes to train with us and share some of his knowledge.  Curran's career has taken him around the world with fights in the UFC, Strikeforce, PRIDE Fighting Championship, WEC, IFL, and KOTC.  He's fought in 4 different weight classes and will bring all that experience to GR on April 6th.  

Jeff holds a rank of 2nd degree black belt under Professor Pedro Sauer.  He is also known as one of the most technical instructors in the Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu Association.

The seminar will consist of two parts: two hours of gi instruction and two hours of no-gi

Jason Dent to Fight in Iowa on April 7th

Saturday, April 7th, Jason Dent enters the cage to face Paul Bird in the main event for World War Fighting Championships in Des Moines, IA.

Paul “The Gingabread Man” Bird” boasts a 10-3 record and is on a two fight winning streak. Bird is 28, 5'9” and 155#. Seven of his wins are by submission and five of those are choke variations.

Josh "The Dentist" Neer Seminar and Meet & Greet

On Saturday, March 31^st, Josh “The Dentist” Neer will conduct a three hour seminar at the GriffonRawl MMA Academy. Josh is a twelve time UFC vet with wins over Duane Ludwig, Mac Danzig, Forest Petz, Din Thomas and Joe Stevenson.
