Dent Debuts and Walker Defends at Bellator 66

Jason Dent and Donny Walker continue their lifelong habit of setting out on new adventures together. The friends will make their debut together in Bellator Fighting Championships on April 2oth in front of a hometown Cleveland crowd.

The event is at the I-X Center near Cleveland Hopkins airport and features many other familiar North East Ohio fighters.

Donny Walker faces NAAFS standout Frank Caraballo (8-4), who will be making his 3rd appearance in the Bellator cage. Donny Walker holds the NAAFS Featherweight belt, and Caraballo holds the interim belt created when Walker was picked up by the UFC. This fight will resolve the conflict and the winner will be the new NAAFS Featherweight Champion.

Jason, who is cramming two fights into April after a 6 month layoff, fights Tyler Combs (14-8). Combs, who has made something of a career fighting above his weight class, will be trying to end a 3 fight skid. His last fight was a loss to Jessie Barrett (who usually fights at 185#) on 2/25/12.

Compton, Comer and Burbol Fight at Caged Vengeance

GR hits NAAFS with full force when three fighters throw down at Caged Vengeance in downtown Cleveland on February 18th.

Paul Compton, George Comer and John Burbol will stand up for GriffonRawl

145 lbs – Paul Compton 5-4 vs Antonio Castillo Jr. 3-3 (Instigator)
155 lbs – George Comer 0-1 vs Ryan Shank 0-0 (Charleston, WV)
185 lbs – John Burbol 5-4 vs John Antanitis 5-3 (Penn Hill MMA)

Antonio Castillo is moving fast with 6 fights in 13 months. His losses seem linked to taking too little time between fights. He raised his record to 3-3 with a solid decision win over Kevin Rothacker in last November.

Comer's opponent is 5-0 as an amateur and fights at 170 and 185. He makes his pro debut at 155. Expect him to bring it.

John Antanitis returns to the cage after a 14 month hiatus with a 5-3 record. He's another one whose losses seem linked to shorts rests between fights.
