The region's premiere MMA competitors will do battle to determine once and for all who the premiere organization is. The NAAFS is honored to join forces with Next Level to bring you this historic night of mixed martial arts action.Team Next Level will go into this showdown with the home field advantage, competing in their own backyard of Steubenville, OH. Ed Chanoski has assembled Next Level's best athletes in combat the pending invasion of the NAAFS' elite. The "Challenge" will take place at each weight class, with a fighter representing his particular organization.In the Featherweight Division, it will be the undefeated Justin Steave (4-0) representing Team Next Level to take on Wreckroom Athletics’ Cody "The Wolverine" Stevens (7-1), who is currently ranked #2 in the NAAFS National Featherweight Division. In another Featherweight showdown, the NAAFS will be represented by Team Griffon-Rawl’s Chuck Schilling (4-1) and he will go up against Team Next Level's Eric Noel (5-1), who is currently ranked #5 in the NAAFS Featherweight Division. In the final Featherweight showdown, NAAFS veteran Carl Dean Roff (2-3) of Roff Ryder's Fight Team will step inside the cage against Team Next Level's Jake Zeigler (2-1).Another highly anticipated showdown will take place in the Welterweight Division, as each organization will be represented by one of the region's best fighters. Team Next Level’s Kellen Hughes, who is also ranked #1 in the NAAFS Welterweight Division, will take on the undefeated Chris Goldizen (4-0) of Team Griffon-Rawl, who is coming off an impressive victory at NAAFS War on the Shore. In Light Heavyweight action, current Next Level Light Heavyweight Champion “The Mean Machine” Mark Hoppel takes on NAAFS veteran, #3 ranked Nick “The Savage” Duell of Jungle Fight Team. The winner of this bout will not only have bragging rights for his organization, but will be one step closer towards the NAAFS National Finals in December. The Heavyweight’s will collide at Next Level vs. NAAFS, when “The Asian Persuasion” Tony Underwood of Team Next Level takes on Norm “The Jackhammer” Carriero. Fans are in for a treat when these incredible athletes leave it all inside the cage.Also competing in the Next Level vs. NAAFS Challenge is Grant Hoppel. The young stuff of Team Next Level is awaiting his open challenge to be accepted by any of the NAAFS’ top Welterweight combatants. The NAAFS has countered, as #1 Ranked Light Heavyweight Joe “The Giant Killer” Lewis is coming to Steubenville and looking for a war. Tickets for Next Level vs. NAAFS are on sale now.
